According to a new Pew Research Center survey, many Americans think the creation and spread of fake news and information is causing significant harm to society and needs to be stopped. Interestingly, more Americans see fake news as a huge problem for the country than terrorism, illegal immigration, racism, and sexism. Nearly seven-in-ten U.S. adults (68 percent) say fake news and information greatly impacts Americans’ confidence in government institutions, and roughly half (54 percent) say it has a major impact on our confidence in each other.

‘The next big channel’: Retailers are seeing success with in-home styling services - Glossy

Personal styling services have already caught a wave with fashion retailers, but there is another personal styling option that retailers are catching on to: at-home styling. Nordstrom currently has many types of personal styling services and its highest-touch option, Nordstrom To You, brings a Nordstrom stylist to a customer’s home with a rack full of clothing. Customers can pay $50 for a quick session or $400 for a full closet edit.

Microsoft recently announced that it will offer a new service in October that allows users to play video games from Xbox consoles on their smartphone – all for free. The service is a piece of the company’s new xCloud game-streaming strategy. The other piece will let gamers without access to a console play games using Microsoft’s cloud, and it will store and run the games, and deliver them to players over the internet for a fee.
