Now that there is such an oversaturation of content, consumers are increasingly more discerning on the content they want. The subscription model feeds into a consumer’s need to have curated content tailored for their specific interests, where they can “cherry pick” what is relevant to them and be satisfied they won’t have all of the irrelevant noise.
